I must
have waited over 12 hours for a storm to near us for any chance of getting pictures. The storms were offshore or were to far
west, it was always something that got in the way. Throughout the day, misses from storms began to closen in on the area.
As a seabreeze front interacted with a trough from an upper level low, pop up thunderstorms formed ahead of the trough. One
basicly forming to my south and began strenghtening. Though still weak, it allowed for a good lightning show. The rain held
off long enough to get some much needed night time lightning photos. When i returned to my house, i began watching toward
my south and waited for the next storm to show up. Thinking the air around me was pretty stabilized and i would get much out
of it, i went to bed. WHY!? Apparently last night was one of the best storms all year, big lightning, loud thunder, and possibly
hail. I had to sleep 30 mins before it came through! ugh. Till another day
